Function / Application:
- for quickly cooling down asparagus to a storage temperature of 1°C.
= The Frigopurmat is particularly suitable for use after the sorting process, as preparation of the asparagus for further storage, e.g. in the cold store - Asparagus boxes are transported through the shocker via a conveyor belt.

= The choice of cooling system determines the design/equipment of the flow shocker.
1. Integrated cooling unit
- Connection between the cooling unit and the flow shocker is made through copper pipes.

2. External chiller in 2-substance circuit
Connection between chiller and flow shocker is via an insulated hose. A water-glycol mixture runs through stainless steel plates / pipes of the flow shocker, preferably
- in a closed system to reduce temperature loss.

= Cooling capacity can be adapted to the demand
